That’s what the last girl I slept with said when she got her first sober glimpse of me. She laughed, walked out of my penthouse—and I never saw her again. It doesn’t matter that I’m a rich, professional athlete; what mattered was my face.
This book was awesome. I have always loved Sara Ney for her funny and down right addicting stories, and this one was no different. It had a bit of a lighter feel to it, but it was so enjoyable.
Noah and Miranda were such a cute couple once they got past all the things keeping them from being together.
Noah had self image issues and being a celebrity didn’t help. He made sure to stay out of the spotlight because he considered himself ugly compared to his other team members.
Miranda was trying to start her own business, and doing so meant she needed money so she talked herself into parting with some expensive baseball cards that her grandfather left her. She posts one for sale and Noah wants it.
From there, the story gets entirely crazy with Buzz being a fun edition to it all.
I can’t wait to see what happens in the next story.
