Hard Pass – Review

Release Date: June 16

“Hard Pass.”
That’s what the last girl I slept with said when she got her first sober glimpse of me. She laughed, walked out of my penthouse—and I never saw her again. It doesn’t matter that I’m a rich, professional athlete; what mattered was my face.

Beauty might only be skin deep for some—but I know better.
“Pay Up.”
That’s what the last girl I spoke to said over the phone when I made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. Desperate to sell a set of rare baseball cards, she’s clever and entertaining. I’m instantly smitten, but nowhere ready to reveal myself. Thank god she has no idea who I am—or what I look like.
I’m a professional athlete–how hard can playing the love game be?

Review:

This book was awesome. I have always loved Sara Ney for her funny and down right addicting stories, and this one was no different. It had a bit of a lighter feel to it, but it was so enjoyable.

Noah and Miranda were such a cute couple once they got past all the things keeping them from being together.
Noah had self image issues and being a celebrity didn’t help. He made sure to stay out of the spotlight because he considered himself ugly compared to his other team members.

Miranda was trying to start her own business, and doing so meant she needed money so she talked herself into parting with some expensive baseball cards that her grandfather left her. She posts one for sale and Noah wants it.
From there, the story gets entirely crazy with Buzz being a fun edition to it all.

I can’t wait to see what happens in the next story.

Synopsis
“Cross one, cross all.”
That’s the Brayshaw way.
She should have realized this before sliding into our world with secrets too big to bury.
She didn’t and now the target is on her back.
The day her lies came crashing down, I should have forced her out.
Instead, I locked her in, and with the promise I would never be hers.
I resisted, fought against us.
I caved.
I tasted what became my newfound favorite flavor and fell hard for the little liar.
But then the depth of her treachery reveals itself, and with it a reminder.
Our town is a twisted place, and with truth comes trouble.
In the blink of an eye, my world is split at its core, and I’m faced with an impossible decision, one that leads to a single outcome…
Betrayal.

Review :

I’ve been sitting on this review for days because yet again words cannot seem to express how good a book is.
I’ve been a fan on Meagan Brandy for a while now. I started with Boys of Brayshaw High and then read every single book shes ever written… Be My Brayshaw outdid them all.
The FEELS in this… GAHHHHHHHH
Never have my emotions been such a roller coaster of craziness.
Captain was everything I expected and so much more. I think he is officially my favorite of the three of them.

You know… when Melissa Teo said we were not ready… she was not damn kidding. I had to buckle up hard for that ride. It was a hell of a ride. Epic until the very damn end… and Victoria…. gahhhhh my girl. So selfless. So loyal. So different from Raven yet so much the same. So deserving of that name. Ahhhhhh. She not only redeemed herself in my eyes, she put herself on a whole new level. I wish I could forget it all and read it all over again. It was so damn good. Meagan Brandy you outdid yourself on Caps book and I’m in awe. I cannot wait for Royces book because man… I was not ready for this one and I sure as hell won’t be for the next one.
I know its gonna be good.
